According to Tuttosport, as cited by MilanNews.it, Calhanoglu didn’t sustain any muscle problems but rather just a blow to his calf. Yesterday, the Turkish international underwent a massage session to get rid of the bruise.
Today, on the eve of the clash against Juventus, the Rossoneri’s No.10 will return to training with the group and will thus be at Stefano Pioli’s disposal for the game. The manager is expected to field the same line-up as against Lazio.
As mentioned, the manager was relieved to learn that Calhanoglu’s problem wasn’t serious, given how important he is to the team. Since the league was resumed, he has bagged two goals and two assists, while helping set up many other goals.
