GdS: Milan could complete €20m loan signing from Real Madrid in the coming days

By Isak Möller -

Brahim Diaz impressed many during his loan spell at Milan this past season, especially towards the end when it mattered the most. Therefore, it’s not exactly a surprise that the Rossoneri want to keep the playmaker.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanLive), negotiations between Milan and Real Madrid are at an advanced stage. The Rossoneri want to extend the loan and also include a buy-out clause to be able to sign him permanently in 2022.

The two clubs will have to reach an agreement on the fee, of course, with Milan keen on setting the clause at no more than €20m. Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are planning to close the operation the coming days, per the newspaper.

Diaz would be the third signing for Milan this summer after Mike Maignan and Fikayo Tomori. Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has given the ok for the transfer and there is optimism that an agreement can be reached soon.
