AC Milan are awaiting the response of defender Diego Laxalt as he chooses his next destination with a decision expected today, a report claims.
With four left-backs currently on the books after Theo Hernandez’s €20m arrival from Real Madrid this summer, Paolo Maldini told reporters recently that two will be leaving.
The club confirmed on Monday that they have terminated the contract of Ivan Strinic, and now more updates have arrived on Diego Laxalt’s situation.
Recently, newspaper il Corriere dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) reported that Laxalt was leaning towards rejecting a proposal from Atalanta.
La Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira is reporting via his Twitter account that a decision from the Uruguay international regarding his future is set to arrive on Tuesday.
There is not much optimism surrounding a potential move north to Bergamo as the player is not yet convinced, Schira states.
He goes on to add that the former Genoa man is considering proposals from abroad, naming interest from Olympique Marseille.
#calciomercato
