GdS: Milan eye Atalanta man as potential Donnarumma replacement – his price tag

By Isak Möller -

Gigio Donnarumma’s contract will expire at the end of the season and he’s yet to reach an agreement with Milan for a new one. The optimism that was filtering has now completely vanished, with the Rossoneri looking around.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, as cited by MilanNews, the Rossoneri don’t want to be caught unprepared and are thus scanning the market. One of the players on their wish list is Pierluigi Gollini, who could leave Atalanta.

The 26-year-old has alternated with Marco Sportiello for the starting spot this season and Milan are impressed with his performances. His contract will expire in 2023 and it’s difficult to imagine that he can leave for anything less than €20m.

However, as has been mentioned many times before, the Rossoneri will try their best to renew the contract of Donnarumma. This remains the absolute priority for them, but it won’t be easy.

  3. This shit is taking too much time and if it ends with gigio leaving we should give the opportunity to a young and promising goalkeeper like plizzari,Not spending 20m to buy another fucking goalkeeper.
