GdS: Milan may let five players leave but one would remain in Serie A

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan are willing to let Divock Origi, Ante Rebic and Charles De Ketelaere leave the club this summer but the latter is expected to remain in Serie A, a report claims.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Milan Live), there has been much focus on incoming players at Milan but there should be some departures in the coming weeks too.

There are three forward players that Milan are happy to live without, although two of them are expected to be sold fully.

Rebic has got a market in Turkey but Milan need to find a deal to sell him rather than just a loan, whilst Origi seems to have no future at Milan and could head back to the Premier League. Fode Ballo-Toure and Yacine Adli are also candidates to leave the club.

As for De Ketelaere, there is still a belief that he can succeed for Milan and a loan within Serie A is possible, with Atalanta interested.

  1. What happened to Rebic ? He has shown that he can be a reliable ST back-to-back with Giroud. When we lead in a match, he is perfect as a substitution for Giroud, when want to defend our leading by counterattack because he is fast. I think this is an issue related to Pioli and the management still considering it. It affects Milan’s effort in searching new ST

  2. Adili deserve new chance if pioli change formation to 433, he is good as mezzala . Adili & pobega will reborn if pioli use 433. For the other 4 player on that list ,just get rid them from squad permanent transfer or loan till their contract expire ( if no buyer)

  3. If we go with 433, then there’s no point in keeping CdK. No AMC needed. And the fact we’re really looking for new RW means that he’s never been even considered to fill that role.

  4. I don’t know why Milan wants yacine Adlito leave. He is good for the club. He has not been given the kind of opportunities given to CDK who fails opportunity after opportunity.
