GdS: Milan have already written their midfield future with Adli and Bakayoko

By Isak Möller -

With the signings of Yacine Adli and Tiemoue Bakayoko, AC Milan have secured the future of their midfield department. The former will be on loan at Bordeaux until next summer, but the signing is still exciting.

As highlighted by today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), Milan have written their midfield future. Bakayoko has joined on a two-year loan and there is an option to buy included in the deal.

The 27-year-old, of course, is already at Stefano Pioli’s disposal and could be important quite soon. Adli was signed on a permanent basis for €8m but Milan agreed to send him back to Bordeaux on a one-year loan.

While the renewal of Franck Kessie is an absolute priority, Milan have taken the right precautions for the midfield this summer. It’s inevitable to look at these two signings in this way, given the seemingly complicated Kessie renewal.
