AC Milan’s leadership have one big aim in the winter transfer window following a summer over overhaul, a report claims.
Il Corriere dello Sport – as cited by Calciomercato.com – recently stated that new head coach Stefano Pioli has been promised some money in January to reinforce the squad.
Meanwhile, club director Zvonomir Boban has not hidden away from expressing his regret at not recruiting more experience during the summer.
According to a report from La Gazzetta dello Sport on Monday (via MilanNews.it), the belief of the club’s hierarchy is that the squad is a bit too youth-oriented at present.
As a result, they apparently believe that experience is needed to add to the current team, and it will be a major objective in January to add more seasoned players.
Milan have been linked with a number of big names such as Juan Mata, Mesut Ozil, Javi Martinez and Thomas Muller – all of whom fit the aforementioned criteria.
