GdS: Milan hoping to have Ibrahimovic back against Juve – the latest on his injury

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will miss out on the action tonight as a result of his minor injury, but he could be back already at the weekend. Of course, AC Milan want their star striker back as soon as possible.

According to today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport, as cited by MilanNews, the Rossoneri are hoping that the soon-to-be 40-year-old will be back against Juventus. But this evening, Ante Rebic should be the starting centre-forward.

Ibrahimovic will be evaluated on a day-to-day basis and this means that a lot could change in the coming days. However, the medical staff are hoping that the striker can feature already at the weekend, given that the Achilles injury is minor.

He was left out of the squad tonight as a precaution, so one can only hope that he will be back on the pitch on Sunday. With three wins in the bag, Milan will be looking to continue their winning streak in the league against Juventus.
