GdS: Milan hoping to have Kessie back for important clash against Lazio

By Isak Möller -

Franck Kessie is currently recovering from an injury and AC Milan are hoping to have him back as soon as possible. By the looks of it, he could be back in action after the international break.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), Stefano Pioli is hoping to have the midfield star available for the important game against Lazio after the break. Indeed, Kessie is expected to return to training next week.

This makes him a candidate for the game but, of course, Milan are not interested in taking any risks. Furthermore, Rade Krunic has done very well in his place and the same can be said for Sandro Tonali.

In other news, the Rossoneri are also working on the renewal of Kessie but as has been stated before, the situation is complicated. The next few weeks will thus be interesting on many fronts for the No.79, who is a key player for the club.

  1. Kessie has really annoyed me this summer. He said all of that stuff about wanting to stay at Milan for a long time. Then everytime a new story about his contract negotiations comes out his demand goe’s up by 2 million. That being said he was without doubt our most important player last season. So i personally think they should offer him the same as Ibra. If he doesn’t accept that he clearly wants to leave and should be left benched. I really, really hope he signs though and becomes a Milan legend.
