In addition to the work being done on the pitch, AC Milan are also working on a corporate level to lock down some of their key players. Just yesterday, the renewal of Theo Hernandez was announced and there is more to come.
The Frenchman renewed his contract until 2026 with the Rossoneri and the feeling is that this can have a positive domino effect for Milan. They are also working on the renewals of Ismael Bennacer and Rafael Leao, who both are very important.
As per today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (see photo below), a contract worth €3m plus bonuses has been proposed to Bennacer, while a contract worth €4m plus bonuses has been proposed to Leao. The feeling is that both of these will be completed one way or another.
In addition to those two, Milan are also expected to discuss the future of Brahim Diaz earlier than expected with Real Madrid. The loan will expire in 2023 but the Rossoneri could fast-track the €22m redemption, potentially to try and get rid of the €27m buy-back clause.
📆 Three matters on #ACMilan's agenda after Theo's renewal…
➤ Bennacer's renewal: €3m plus bonuses proposed (until 2026)
➤ Leao's renewal: €4m plus bonuses proposed (until 2026)
➤ Brahim's redemption: to be discussed early with Real Madrid
