GdS: Milan’s attacking strategy could change in ten days – Ibra’s recovery decisive

By Isak Möller -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is yet to recover from his injury and the next update on his condition will be decisive for Milan. If the conservative therapy hasn’t worked as planned, then the Rossoneri could be forced to act on the market.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), seeing as there hasn’t been major improvement yet, Milan will carry out an arthroscopic intervention in ten days. It will give them a better view of how serious the injury actually is.

Above all, it will help them determine if surgery is indeed needed for Ibrahimovic, who will turn 40 in October. If that is the case, then a long stop is to be expected and Milan would have to sign another striker this summer.

The Rossoneri remain optimistic for now as they don’t want to think about the worst-case scenario, but the news might not be good. Azmoun of Zenit is the latest striker to be linked with the club, which you can read here.
