Milan are working on bringing in a young striker this summer as Olivier Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic aren’t exactly long-term solutions. The primary target seems to be Kaio Jorge of Santos.
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), Milan have put the 19-year-old at the top of their wish list. Should they decide to buy him this summer, then it would cost them €10m, but they could also decide to wait.
Kaio Jorge’s contract with Santos will expire in December and it’s pretty clear that he won’t renew his contract with the club. Therefore, the Rossoneri will have to decide their strategy, but it will all depend on one thing: the competition.
If several clubs are interested in the Brazilian youngster, then securing him on a free transfer will be very tough. With that in mind, if they really want him, they might be forced to spend the money this summer.
