GdS: Probable Milan XI to face Fiorentina – Trio returns; Pioli only has one doubt

By Isak Möller -

Milan will take on Fiorentina in the 28th round of Serie A tomorrow evening, hoping to replicate their performance in the reverse fixture which saw them secure a 2-0 win. However, it won’t be easy away from home.

The Rossoneri are indeed still struggling with injuries but, on the bright side, Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be able to play the game from start after coming on against Man Utd mid-week. A big boost, of course, given what he can do.

There will be three changes to the XI, per Gazzetta Dello Sport, as Diogo Dalot will replace Pierre Kalulu on the right-hand side of the defence. In the midfield, Sandro Tonali is back after getting some rest against Man Utd.

The attacking trio will remain unchanged by Stefano Pioli has one doubt about the XI and that is the midfield tandem. Tonali is in pole position to start ahead of Franck Kessie, but Ismael Bennacer is now also available and could get the chance.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): G. Donnarumma; Dalot, Kjaer, Tomori, Theo; Tonali, Kessie; Saelemaekers, Calhanoglu, Krunic; Ibrahimovic.
