GdS: Probable XIs for Milan vs. Napoli – Three changes for Pioli as duo recovers

By Isak Möller -

Milan will be looking to secure an important win at San Siro tomorrow evening, taking on Napoli in the 27th round of Serie A. After the win against Verona and draw away at Man Utd, they are in good form.

Fortunately for Stefano Pioli, there are finally some good news after what has been a period of great crisis, with several key players out. Hakan Calhanoglu and Theo Hernandez have recovered and will play from start tomorrow.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport (see photo below), there will be a total of three changes in the starting XI. Diogo Dalot will move to the right-hand side of the defence as Davide Calabria isn’t 100% fit, while Theo will be on the left.

In midfield, Sandro Tonali will be back from start after getting some rest last time out. His replacement, Soualiho Meite, impressed but will be on the bench. Further up the pitch, Calhanoglu will play in his usual No.10 role.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Dalot, Kjaer, Tomori, Theo Hernandez; Tonali, Kessie; Saelemaekers, Calhanoglu, Krunic; Leao.

Probable Napoli XI (4-2-3-1): Ospina; Di Lorenzo, Rrahmani, Koualibaly, Rui; Ruiz, Demme; Politano, Zielinski, Insigne; Osimhen.
