GdS: Strength, speed and an eye for goal – Hauge continues to impress at Milan

By Isak Möller -

Jens Petter Hauge has impressed almost everyone in his first months at Milan. The young winger, who arrived in September, has started his adventure very well and is slowly getting more and more playing time.

As reported by Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), the former Bodo/Glimt man has what it takes to learn and improve. In short, a true professional. And to think that just three months ago, few knew who he was.

Milan, on the other hand, had followed him closely through their scouting network. And when the deal was proposed, that is, immediately after the Europa League clash, it didn’t several days to close it.

A few million were enough: €4.5m to be precise, the lowest figure in the current squad for a purchase. Strength, speed and a sense of goal: Hauge has a great ability to climb the pecking order and is working hard to do so.

A wild card of the attack, therefore, that Pioli will be able to exploit. And for those who believe in destiny, here’s the newspaper’s anecdote for the Norwegian

“Hauge himself, studying the videos of his opponents before Milan-Bodo/Glimt, said to his teammates: ‘Nice team, a team of young people, for the future it would be nice to play there’.”
