GdS: The latest on Milan’s injuries including Rebic, Leao, Manduzkic, Romagnoli and Calabria

The latest updates have arrived regarding the current situation in Milan’s treatment room, where several players are hoping to return to full fitness soon.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) reveals that while Pioli has recently recovered some players, the emergency at the moment persists in attack as only Zlatan Ibrahimovic is available. Mario Mandzukic – who has currently played 157 minutes since arriving – is still in doubt for the match against Sampdoria after the break, while Rafael Leao should be present.

Ante Rebic could recover, but on Monday there is the verdict regarding the appeal put to the Sports Judge relating to the two-game suspension that he was awarded. It will take more time for Alessio Romagnoli and Davide Calabria to come back and the full-back will be the last player to return, as he has recently been operated on.

Pioli’s hope is that he will have all the players available for the final part of the season as Milan are playing for a spot in the Champions League, a goal that is too important for the Rossoneri.
