Italy coach Mancini says Donnarumma joining PSG would be ‘a good choice’

By Isak Möller -

Gigio Donnarumma is currently on international duty with Italy as the first-choice goalkeeper in the squad, hoping to go all the way this summer. Meanwhile, his agent Mino Raiola is working on his future.

The No.99 has decided not to renew his contract with Milan and will leave the club at the end of the month. The Rossoneri have already signed Mike Maignan as the replacement and Donnarumma is now working on his next destination.

Per the latest reports, he’s getting closer to Paris Saint-Germain as they have been able to satisfy the demands of both the player and Raiola. That being said, it’s not a major difference between what he will get and what Milan offered.

During the press conference ahead of Italy’s clash against Switzerland tomorrow, Roberto Mancini shared his thoughts on the rumours linking Donnarumma with PSG. He stated that it would be ‘a good choice’ for the goalkeeper.

“If he were to go, he would make a good choice, PSG are a great team,” he said as cited by Marco Conterio.
