Milan are serious in their pursuit of Bodo/Glimt star Jens Petter Hauge. Since we broke the story yesterday morning, several credible outlets have confirmed the Rossoneri’s interest in the promising winger.
The interest, however, isn’t a result of Hauge’s impressive display at San Siro the other night. Milan have been following the player since June, per Norwegian journalist Jan Aage Fjortoft, and Thursday’s clash confirmed their expectations.
The Rossoneri took to modern methods in order to discover Hauge in the first place, as revealed by the journalist. They scanned the lower leagues for the best talents and in Norway, the 20-year-old came up as the best back in June.
AC Milan made a “scan” of all young talents playing in the “lower leagues” in Europe. And Jens Petter Hauge came up as the best in Norway already in June. The game this week just confirmed the findings of the “data-team” https://t.co/eanGSyVtwd

Hauge confirmed this with his performance on Thursday evening, proving the ‘data team’ right with their various algorithms. The negotiations are at a final stage, by the looks of it, and the full agreement could be reached very soon between the clubs.
