Journalist describes ‘turbulent’ game preparation for Milan as they await Covid results

By Isak Möller -

Tomorrow evening, AC Milan will face Roma in front of 39K fans at San Siro. The recent Covid-19 surge has affected the football teams and there might be more than two cases for the Rossoneri.

Two days ago, it was announced that Cirpiran Tatarusanu has tested åosiotoive for Covid-19 and last night, it was announced that a second case has been confirmed. The name wasn’t mentioned for the latter, as requested by the player.

There is now worry that there are more cases within the team. Today’s preparation at Milanello was reportedly a bit turbulent, as one first-team player missed out. This was reported by Peppe Di Stefano live on Sky Italia (via FMCR).

“As far as I know, someone hasn’t trained and so we’re waiting for news, let’s hope it’s good. Yesterday Pioli tried an XI, today he tried another one, the preparation for the match today was a bit turbulent.

“We at Sky as an editorial line always await the official announcements, so we await what the club will communicate about today’s tests,” he stated.

It remains to be seen what the outcome of the Covid test(s) will be. Hopefully, there are no more cases but it’s also clear that several clubs are struggling with several positives.
