Journalist urges Milan to sign Real Madrid man: “There aren’t many opportunities”

By Isak Möller -

Hakan Calhanoglu has officially joined Inter after failing to reach an agreement with Milan on the contract renewal. As a result, the Rossoneri will have to find a new man for the No.10 role ahead of next season.

While they are already working on the signing of Brahim Diaz, who is all set to return, they will need one more player. The Spaniard was the alternative to Calhanoglu this past season so it only makes sense to bring in one more player.

In an exclusive interview with MilanNews, journalist Carlo Pellegatti was asked about the situation and what players Milan should go for. He urged Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara to make a move for another Real Madrid player.

“Since Rui Costa, Seedorf or Rivera isn’t free, I wouldn’t know. Jokes aside, there aren’t many market opportunities right now. For personal taste, I’d say Dani Ceballos, a player I’ve always liked and who could be the right man for Milan,” he stated.

Ceballos made 25 appearances in Premier League this past season, on loan at Arsenal, and got three assists to his name. Not great numbers, but he has great potential and Milan could be the right destination.

  1. He is not much different from Hakan. He rejected Milan, he picked Arsenal over Milan. He obviously doesn’t give a fk about Milan and will come only if he doesnt have other offers. He is not better than Diaz aswell.
