Juventus boss Allegri says ‘no one in the world’ beats their man like Leao

By Euan Burns -

Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has said that no one in the world can dribble past their marker in the way that AC Milan forward Rafael Leao can.

Speaking during an interview with Corriere della Sera journalist Mario Sconcerti (via Milan News), Allegri spoke glowingly about the Milan forward who was the best player in Serie A last season.

He admitted that no one else can beat their man in the same way that the Portuguese forward can.

“Milan have two exceptional and very modern players, Theo Hernandez and Rafael Leao. It comes back to the importance of physicality. There is no one else in the world who beats the man with the power and lightness of Leao,” Allegri said.

Juventus are yet to face AC Milan this season but Allegri will be hoping that his defenders can keep him at bay.

Leao is not going to be available for Stefano Pioli on Sunday because he got a red card int he previous Serie A match against Sampdoria which ended 2-1 to the Rossoneri.

That is a major blow as Milan are facing Napoli who are level on points with them and have been very impressive so far.

  1. I’m starting to think, is it possible that people in this comment section has better judgement than Allegri, Pioli, Maldini, Massara, Chelsea owner, etc.

    1. That means that you are a useless as Alegry is. You want the money go to PSG, AC Milan isn’t the club, but if you want glory AC Milan is the club. Maldini is there for a simple reason glory. If you get glory the money will come sooner or later.

  2. Leao deserved high salary. Fast, physically strong, high technique, can score and assist. Even Neymar, Messi, and Mbappe, doesn’t have his physically strong

    1. Is Serie-A not high-level ? Is facing Di Lorenzo, Cuadrado, Dumfries, Skriniar, Bastoni, Bremer, Mancini, De Ligt, etc aren’t high-level enough ?

      1. Alex he said in the world so technically we cant say that there are many superstars who play more tougher defenders and score more goals yes leao is dribbling is very good maybe best in serie a but in the world u have to think abt it bro and bb example vs liverpool he couldnt do much

  3. Allegri has the good point to underline Leao’s greatness : Dribble with Power & Lightness, shows the importance of physicality.

Before Leao, the world of football has Cristiano Ronaldo who dribble with power, but yeah Leao has lightness than Ronaldo.

  4. Pay Leao the 7M. He should be paid at least as high as some of the highest players in a Serie A – like Vlahovic and Rabiot. He’s not asking for EPL money – he’s asking to be paid as one of the top players in Serie A and as league MVP and coaches and defenders saying it’s almost impossible to defend him – this is a reasonable request. This should have been done already.

  5. Juro, I agree with you 100% ! Only God knows what this management is waring time in finalising Leaos renewal…The guy is now getting being noticed more than before.

  6. The longer we wait the more the price will increase lol. “As highlighted by Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Leao is responsible for having created 75% of Milan’s chances thus far (this season)….”

So anyone who says we don’t need Leao or he’s easily replaceable or like my friend @bb who calls Leao “lazy” – doesn’t understand football. stats don’t lie. 75% of our scoring opportunities come from Leao. Pay this man. Period.
