Kessie expects ‘difficult’ game against Roma and praises his midfield partner Bennacer

AC Milan’s encounter with Roma will start in just under 15 min, with the Rossoneri hoping to claim yet another three points after the big win against Lecce. However, it won’t be an easy game for Stefano Pioli’s men.

In an interview with MilanTV just a few minutes ago, as cited by MilanNews.it, Franck Kessie spoke about the game, labelling it as a difficult. Should Milan win, then they will decrease the gap between them and the Giallorossi, who are in 5th place.

“I expect a very difficult match, but we have worked very well and today we have to show what we have done during the week.

“Today is a good opportunity to show that we too can win against the great teams. We must give everything to leave the field happy,” he stated.

The midfielder was also asked about the partnership with Ismael Bennacer, working together with the Algerian in the midfield tandem. As of late, the duo have complemented each other well and will be important during tonight’s clash.

“Bennacer? I’m very comfortable with Bennacer, he is strong. I’m comfortable with everyone, though,” he concluded.

Stefano Pioli has faced Roma more than any other opponent in his managerial career so far, but he has managed to win only twice. Therefore, he will be looking to change the negative trend with a win today.
