L’Equipe: Milan trio could start for France against the Netherlands tomorrow

By Isak Möller -

France will take on the Netherlands in the Euro qualifiers tomorrow evening and three AC Milan players could start for Didier Deschamps’ side. One of them is a doubt, however, as a report claims.

The international break is underway and the first games involving Milan players will take place tomorrow. According to L’Equipe (see the photo below), Mike Maignan, Theo Hernandez and Olivier Giroud could play from start.

France will take on the Netherlands at 20.45 CEST and the only doubt for Deschamps is Giroud, who is in a battle with Randal Kolo Muani. A decision will likely be taken tomorrow, but regardless the veteran will not play the entire game.

Tijjani Reijnders is called up for the Netherlands, of course, and it remains to be seen if he will play from start or not. He will likely make an appearance off the bench in case he doesn’t start, given his success at Milan.
