Mediaset: Ante Rebic continues recovery as Milan set preliminary return date

In addition to Ante Rebic, who dislocated his shoulder against Crotone, Hakan Calhanoglu has also been forced to stop due to an injury. Stefano Pioli is hoping that his two stars will be available as soon as possible.

The Turk sprained his ankle during training this week and it remains to be seen when he will be back, although most likely next week. The game against Roma, however, is still at risk and the best-case scenario is him making the bench.

As for Rebic, per SportMediaset (via Milanlive.it), the situation is a bit different. He’s expected to miss the game against Roma but should return for Udinese-Milan on Sunday, November 1. Meanwhile, Rafael Leao will start on the left.

The Croatian sustained his injury against Crotone almost a month ago now, and it became clear pretty quickly that it was serious. The medical staff decided to opt for conservative therapy and Pioli hopes to have the player back in the group soon.
