Mediaset: Developments regarding Chelsea and Spurs duo as Milan’s market takes off

By Oliver Fisher -

After what feels like a week of silence, it seems AC Milan’s summer business is finally getting underway.

TV broadcaster SportMediaset (via MilanNews) have given their daily update on the goings on at Casa Milan, starting by claiming that negotiations for Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko are continuing with optimism.

The Rossoneri have reached an agreement with the player who, in order to return to Italy, is willing to lower his salary. An agreement with Chelsea has yet to be reached with Milan studying the right formula, probably a loan with obligation to buy.

Meanwhile, contacts with Serge Aurier have intensified and he appears to be the one chosen to become the new starting right-back.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic remains at the center of the project and the negotiations for the renewal continue with speed. Mino Raiola, his agent, is also working on the extension of Gianluigi Donnarumma for which he will ask for a clause of €50million in case of non-qualification for the Champions League.

In terms of sales, Ricardo Rodriguez is in talks over a move to Torino and Alessandro Plizzari is set to join Reggina on loan.
