Mediaset: Maldini might not attend Milan-Genoa; Gazidis will bring two legends

By Isak Möller -

The tension at AC Milan, mainly at a corporate level, continues to exist. As Zvone Boban has been sacked, pending the official announcement, many are now wondering what Paolo Maldini’s future will be.

According to SportMediaset (via MilanNews.it), the divorce between Boban and Milan will be official in the next few hours, as a press release is expected. Maldini’s future, on the other hand, remains very uncertain.

In fact, the technical director’s presence at tomorrow’s encounter between Milan and Genoa is in doubt. Ivan Gazidis will be at the stadium, of course, set to have Franco Baresi and Daniele Massaro by his side in the stands.

It remains to be seen if Maldini will show up, although it would be strange if he didn’t. During such a crucial phase of the season, the players need all the support they can get, which is why many have been complaining about Boban’s departure.
