Agent Jorge Mendes has reportedly become frustrated as his client Andre Silva continues to play hard ball over an AC Milan exit.
The Portugal international is ‘destined’ to leave Milan before the end of the window as he is not part of Marco Giampaolo’s plans.
A deal to send him to Monaco has already fallen through due to financial disagreements, meaning Mendes is now looking for a new destination for his client.
It was suggested earlier on Friday that Portuguese side Sporting CP are keen on signing Silva, something which could help Milan finally land Angel Correa from Atletico Madrid.
However, SportMediaset (via PianetaMilan) claim that Silva’s future is far from certain as he is holding out for the right opportunity.
They claim that the former Porto man will only leave Milan for a club of equal rank, of which at the moment there are no proposals.
As a result Mendes is ‘irritated’ with him and is trying to persuade him to accept another destination.
It is also not completely out of the question that Giampaolo does not call Silva up for the opening game against Udinese, something which could finally persuade him to try a new challenge.
