Mihajlovic lifts lid on talks with Ibrahimovic; reveals when his decision will arrive

By Oliver Fisher -

Bologna head coach Sinisa Mihajlovic believes that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will make a decision on his future by December 10.

Ibrahimovic is Milan’s main target for the January transfer window as the Rossoneri look to tackle both their goalscoring and leadership issues in one swoop.

Numerous journalists reported on Thursday evening that Milan are upping the ante once again and that bonuses could bridge the gap between the current offer and the player’s demand.

Friday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews.it) then added that Zlatan has yet to make a decision on his future, but he declared that Milano is his second home, fuelling rumours of a return.

Now Mihajlovic – who on Friday gave his first press conference due to his ongoing leukaemia treatment – has shed some light on Ibrahimovic’s future, with Bologna also believed to be in the race.

“We talked a month ago and then ten days ago. Let’s see what happens,” he told reporters, as per MilanNews.it.

“He is interested, he would come here for me and for our friendship, but I understand that there are also other solutions.

“Before making a decision he will call me, but I think that this will not happen before December 10. I will feel it in the next days, for now everything is on stand-by.”
