‘Milan move into 2000s’ – Today’s front page of Gazzetta Dello Sport

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan have focused a lot on young players in recent years and they currently have one of the youngest squads in the league. That’s one of the things that make their title contention so enjoyable.

Indeed, the Rossoneri provided with the win against Udinese that they still are the same team as we saw last season. It was the first time Milan scored four goals in a season opener since 2010, when they faced Lecce at San Siro.

On today’s front page, Gazzetta Dello Sport focused on the fact that Milan now have quite a few key players born in 2000 or after: “The boys of the street, Pioli warn the rivals. Milan move into 2000s. New millennium, all red and black. Tonali is ready, CDK is already an idol at San Siro, just like Kalulu.”
