Roma are facing competition from Milan for Lyon winger Rachid Ghezzal, according to a report.
With Mohamed Salah set to fly to England this evening to complete his transfer to Liverpool for €45m, including bonuses, Ghezzal is suppose to be the replacement to fill the gap.
However, France Football note the Giallorossi are not so sure of signing him, as Milan have also stepped in with an offer for the player.
The Algeria international just turned 25 and this season contributed three goals and seven assists in 38 competitive games.
Milan have been linked with a range of targets to re-inforce the wings this mercato, having already added Mateo Musacchio, Franck Kessie, Ricardo Rodriguez and Andre Silva to the squad.
Those names include Alejandro Gomez of Atalanta, Keita Balde of Lazio and Emil Forsberg of RB Leipzig.
Gerard Deulofeu – who spent the second half of last season on loan with the Rossoneri – also faces an uncertain future and could yet return to San Siro.
