Sky: Milan coach Pioli has two attacking selection doubts ahead of Salzburg clash

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli has got two selectin doubts to work through in the attack for the Champions League game against RB Salzburg on Wednesday night, a report claims.

As has been reported by Italian broadcaster Sky Sport (via Milan News), the two doubts relate to the three attacking midfielders that will play behind Olivier Giroud at San Siro.

The first doubt is on the right wing where both Ante Rebic and Junior Messias are possibilities to start. The other doubt is in the centre where the coach must decide whether Belgian youngster Charles De Ketelaere will start or is it should be Brahim Diaz.

Another name in the frame for that role is Rade Krunic who is capable of playing that far forwards. The training sessions on Tuesday will be crucial for each player to show why they should start the match where a win or draw will see Milan into the next round.

  1. LOL… Rade Krunic (with whom Milan have lost all crucial games when he has started??) over CDK, Diaz.
How can one headache with that one…ROFL… probably lack of thinking ability would be more apt!

  2. These aren’t ‘doubts’, they are ‘choices to make’.

They would be doubts if the aforementioned players didn’t look like being available, i.e., due to injury
