There is no shortage of returns this summer for AC Milan, with their loan success rate looking rather poor indeed.
Having loanees come and go is nothing new. However, when buy clauses are attached and not used, questions have to be raised. Of course, the economic boost would be helpful, and it can still arrive from elsewhere.

However, the fact that the loan clauses were not taken means Milan now have to source the funds from elsewhere, leading to questions about the deals themselves.
Kalulu and the others
Calciomercato.com write that many mistakes were made by the Rossoneri, and not all of them were on the pitch.
10 went out on loan, and only Pierre Kalulu has brought capital gain, with Juventus activating their €14 million clause. Of course, there can be some discounts to the number too, Davide Calabria and Kevin Zeroli both were not going to bring in funds, for different reasons.
Yacine Adli, Devis Vazquez, Lorenzo Colombo and Noah Okafor all have options in their loans for permanent deals, but none will be taken, a figure close to €50m somewhat gone, if you choose to view it that way.

Ismael Bennacer’s future is being discussed with Marseille, whilst Alvaro Morata’s future looks likely to be in Spain despite his relationship with Massimiliano Allegri.
Then, Alexis Saelemaekers’ future is still being assessed, though the Italian head coach wants him as part of the squad. In other words, he can be discounted from the failings. Nevertheless, 6/7 is not a good return literally.

Masters of deadwood. Good Luck unpacking all of that.
And they said the previous management couldn’t sell players.
I guess selling players is not as easy as eating now is it. Especially when it’s players that are not on the priority of other clubs.
