Milan fans protest on social media again: ‘#SusoOut’ trends in Italy

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan fans have once again caused a stir on social media as the hashtag ‘#SusoOut’ has begun trending in Italy.

The Spaniard put in another disappointing performance in Sunday night’s 2-2 draw against Lecce, proving to be largely ineffectual on the right hand side.

Many expected Stefano Pioli’s arrival as head coach to provide somewhat of a rejuvenation for Suso as he has been moved back to his more natural position.

However, the signs were not great, and fans reacted angrily to his performance after the game with many claiming he should be benched.

According to MilanNews.it, there are many who have continued to criticise the performance of the 25-year-old, and on Twitter the hashtag #SusoOut is now trending in Italy.

Both MilanNews.it and La Gazzetta dello Sport were critical of Suso’s showing against Lecce, as he once again reverted to almost exclusively cutting in from the right and crossing without success.

It is of course not the first time that Milanisti have let their feelings be known on Twitter, as they got #PioliOut trending worldwide when rumours of his hiring emerged.
