CorSport: Milan forward set to be handed start against Verona

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan forward Ante Rebic could be set to be given a start against Hellas Verona by Stefano Pioli whilst Olivier Giroud should hold his place, a report claims.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport this morning (via Milan News), the Milan boss could bring Rebic into the starting eleven for the trip to the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi on Sunday night.

The Croatian did not start the previous Serie A match against Juventus but with the genes coming thick and fast, he could get a chance from the first minute against the Gialloblu.

Despite this, it seems that Giroud will be keeping his place in the team once again. Many reports have suggested that the Frenchman could be in line for a rest having played so many games this season.

If both Rebic and Giroud start the game, it suggests that Divock Origi will not be handed his first start since joining the club and returning to fitness.

  1. Giroud is still a top man ,make no mistake about that .
We will win tomorrow,I am convinced ..
Olivier please deliver the goals ..I have never lacked confidence in you …yes perhaps Rebic should also start …Tomori is a top man ,and is normally reliable .
We have to get over the game against Chelsea .
Stafano pioli is a great manager ,and he is the man to be completely trusted …let’s not forget we are still the scuddeto champions, what an achievement that was .
Let’s move forward with a confident display and 3 points …It’s AC Milan

  2. Rebic should be starting….he needs to be given a chance. He played a great last game and only bad luck prevented him from scoring repeatedly.
