CM: Milan to look fresh in January as at least three stars return from injury

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan are set to look much fresher in January as they welcome at least three important players back from injury, a report claims.

As has been pointed out by a report from Calciomercato.com, the Rossoneri will once again be able to count on the services of Mike Maignan in goal, Davide Calabria in the defence, and Alexis Saelemaekers on the right wing.

All three players have been out for around a couple of months already but they are expected to be fit and involved in the match against Lecce on January 4 in Salento.

There is also a chance that fans will be able to see long-term absentees Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Alessandro Florenzi as they are getting close to being back in full training with the rest of the squad.

This would mean that, even excluding any January business, Stefano Pioli will have a lot more depth to rely on in the second half of the season.
