Sky: Milan unlikely to sign a forward in January because of two returnees

AC Milan are not likely to sign a new centre-forward in the January transfer window because of two players returning from injury, a report claims.

Peppe Di Stefano spoke to Sky Italia (via MilanNews) on the day after Milan’s Champions League exit at the hands of Liverpool following a 2-1 defeat at San Siro last night. He did confirm that a new defender will arrive but it remains to be understood if there will be an ‘important investment’ by the club – which is still possible – or if they will for a loan with option or obligation to buy.

In attack, however, the journalist does not think Milan will make any movements on the market because from January there will be the returns of Olivier Giroud and Ante Rebic to consider, with the Frenchman and the Croatian ready to come back and provide a welcome boost to the quality and depth of the attacking department.

  1. This squad is always injured. That is the main problem we have to look into.Imaginr we had Rebic and Leao avaable against that weakened Liverpool defence.Injuries will always hold us back unless we upgrade our fitness facilities and personnel.

  2. My worry is that why is our players always getting injured.is it the fault of our Doctors or our physical trainers🤭We need answers.
