Milan have ‘strong interest’ in Udinese wing-back

By Oliver Fisher -

Milan are coming off a very important 2-1 win today against Crotone as Gianluca Lapadula scored the winning goal with only four minutes to go.

On the transfer market, Milan have to first see what happens with the closing but in the mean time, they have been working on multiple fronts.

According to El Mundo Deportivo, Milan have strong interest in Udinese wing-back Silvan Widmer (born in 1993) as the player is also on Manchester City, Inter and Roma’s radar.

As previoulsy stated, Atalanta’s Gagliardini is more than just an idea for Milan as they will look to improve their midfield come January 2017.

As for departing players, Luiz Adriano’s Milan future seems to be in strong doubt as the player is not playing much. His current contract ends in 2020, as a couple of Russian and German clubs have some interest in the Brazilian forward.

If the final closing does get delayed, then a Luiz Adriano sale will be very likely since Milan will save a lot of money.
