Milan-linked playmaker reveals he will ‘fight to stay’ at Real Madrid this summer

By Isak Möller -

Milan have been linked with many playmakers since the departure of Hakan Calhanoglu when his contract expired in June. One of the players that have been mentioned is Dani Ceballos, but it seems he doesn’t want a move.

The Spaniard spent last season on loan at Arsenal and didn’t impress with his performances. However, he isn’t ready to give up and wants to fight for his spot at Real Madrid, now led by former Milan manager Carlo Ancelotti.

“I really want to win at Real Madrid, I’ll fight to stay here. The experience with Arsenal in the Premier League made me stronger, now it’s time to win at Real Madrid,” he told AS as cited by Fabrizio Romano.

Just seven days ago, Corriere dello Sport (via MilanLive) reported that the Rossoneri are interested in the Real outcast for the playmaker role, which they need to fill. Brahim Diaz is set to arrive but one more will be needed.

It seems it won’t be Ceballos, though, unless the Bernabeu side decide to force him out this summer as they need to collect cash. But for now, a deal is not possible and he isn’t Milan’s first choice either.

  1. That’s really good for us. Ceballos ain’t good enough for Arsenal and tf would he be good for us. I’d rather play Brahim as CAM
