Milan Primavera 3-1 Atalanta: Eletu and Zeroli shine in important win – the goals

AC Milan’s Primavera side came back from 0-1 behind to win their clash against Atalanta 3-1. Victor Eletu and Kevin Zeroli were the big heroes for Ignazio Abate’s side, responsible for all three goals.

After dropping points for the first time last time out, drawing 1-1 with Fiorentina, Milan headed into today’s clash with the hope of claiming all three points. It didn’t start well, though, as Atalanta took the lead in the 38th minute through Vanja Vlahović.

Fortunately, Milan continued playing their game and it eventually paid off as Victor Eletu scored a screamer in the 67th minute. The midfielder has really been a key player lately and he showed his importance there.

Just five minutes later, Eletu was crucial again as he played the corner to Kevin Zeroli, who found the back of the net with a composed header. A strong response from Abate’s boys, in other words, coming back from behind.

In the 90th minute, Zeroli bagged his brace with an acrobatic finish, sealing the deal for Milan Primavera who took back first place from Inter (16 points after six games).
