MN: AC Milan’s probable XI for Juve clash – Pioli makes just one change

By Isak Möller -

On the eve of the clash between AC Milan and Juventus at San Siro, MilanNews.it have published the Rossoneri’s probable starting eleven. By the looks of it, Stefano Pioli will continue with the new formation.

As the report states, the manager is only expected to make one change to the starting eleven that played against Inter, and it’s a change that he’s forced to make. On the right, Davide Calabria will replace the suspended Andrea Conti.

With Lucas Biglia and Rade Krunic injured, Pioli has no other option but to field his usual midfield tandem of Franck Kessie and Ismael Bennacer. However, the African duo would probably have played anyway, given their importance to the team.

In attack, Zlatan Ibrahimovic will start once again after the impressive display against Inter. To his aid, he will have Samu Castillejo, Hakan Calhanoglu and Ante Rebic. In other words, Rafael Leao will be on the bench despite the rumours of him starting.

Likely Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Calabria, Kjaer, Romagnoli, Theo Hernandez; Kessie, Bennacer; Castillejo, Calhanoglu, Rebic; Ibrahimovic.
