MN: Brahim Diaz shines in first games on loan at Milan – the promise of Real Madrid

By Isak Möller -

Already two goals and a quick adaptation to Stefano Pioli’s game. Brahim Diaz has started his loan spell at Milan in the best way, pushing the Rossoneri to reflect on his future with the club.

The Spaniard joined Milan on a dry loan in September but, through a gentleman’s agreement, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara snatched a promise from Real Madrid. According to MilanNews.it, they will sit down to discuss a permanent deal.

The two clubs have excellent relations and have made business on good terms for many years now. Last summer, Milan secured Theo Hernandez for €20m, which turned out to be a bargain as he’s now one of the best left-backs in Serie A.

So, this mercato, they returned to dealing by packaging the Diaz operation. Milan and Real Madrid will discuss the future later but already from the start, the Rossoneri tried to insert a buy-out clause in the deal, working on it for several weeks.

In the end, to speed things up and give Pioli an extra man, Milan accepted the dry loan with the promise to sit down and discuss a permanent deal. The management believes in Diaz and are excited about his performances.
