MN: Calabria set to replace Hernandez on the left flank for Juve-Milan

By Isak Möller -

Lega Serie A have decided to resume the season by completing Coppa Italia first, meaning Milan will take on Juventus away from home next week. The semi-finals will be completed, with the final scheduled a few days later.

As reported by MilanNews.it, Stefano Pioli is preparing for the game tactically, forced to deal with the absence of Theo Hernandez, Samu Castillejo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. For the former, the manager has seemingly found his solution.

Davide Calabria, who usually plays on the right flank, will replace the Frenchman as it’s a position he isn’t too unfamiliar with. On the right, however, Andrea Conti and Alexis Saelemaekers will battle it out for the starting spot.

The first leg ended 1-1 after the Bianconeri scored a late penalty, cancelling Ante Rebic’s opener. It will certainly be a tough task for the Rossoneri, who would secure a spot in the Europa League by winning the tournament.
