MN: Chelsea and Real Madrid duo among five deals Milan are eyeing – the latest

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are working on multiple fronts to secure reinforcements for head coach Stefano Pioli ahead of the new season, a report claims.

According to MilanNews, the name of Sandro Tonali has come back into fashion for Milan in the last few days. A potential negotiation for the Brescia midfielder remains very complex due to Inter’s advantage and the requests of Brescia, but Maldini and Massara are trying. The 20-year-old would be a typical Elliott signing: young and with high potential.

In the meantime, negotiations continue for Tiemoué Bakayoko, proving that he is not an alternative to Tonali. Stefano Pioli has indicated that he wants four starters available for the midfield, so signing Tonali would not rule out Bakayoko’s arrival and vice versa.

Negotiations for Bakayoko are in an advanced stage, as new talks took place with Chelsea today to unlock the situation.

Milan are also carrying out discussions with Real Madrid for Brahim Diaz, who should numerically replace Giacomo Bonaventura.

As for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the situation is now in its final stages. The Swede is close to landing, so much so that the signature on the new contract is awaited.

For the defence, Fiorentina captain German Pezzella is a player that Stefano Pioli likes.
