MN: Chiesa, Jovic, Milenkovic, Bakayoko and five sales – the latest on Milan’s market

AC Milan’s 2020-21 season officially begins in four days, but the club are hard at work on the market and will continue to be until October.

According to MilanNews, the primary target for the midfield remains Tiemoue Bakayoko, with his agent Federico Pastorello mediating the discussion between Milan and Chelsea.

The Blues do not want to move from their €30m asking price on the option to buy, and the fact he did not appear in Chelsea’s squad list for the season cannot be ignored in terms of evaluation.

Florentino Luis and Boubakary Soumarè are alternatives to the Frenchman, however they will not cost less.

Maldini and Massara are also trying to accelerate the sales of Diego Laxalt, Leo Duarte, Davide Calabria, Rade Krunic and above all Lucas Paquetà.

Lorenzo Colombo and Emil Roback could be Ibrahimovic’s deputies, but the idea of signing Luka Jovic on loan at the end of the market must be monitored.

The hot triangle at the moment is the Milan-Ramadani-Fiorentina one for Milenkovic and Chiesa. Both players want to leave Florence and have already communicated their decision, and Rocco Commisso knows that holding back players unwillingly and who have no intention of renewing the contract would be very risky.

Holding them until 2021, one year before the deadline, would represent a great economic damage. The ball then passes to Commisso, with Milan waiting and hoping.
