MN: Daniel Maldini has also recovered as Pioli can smile ahead of Milan-Verona

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan have struggled with several injuries since the start of the season and although it has continued that way, some positive news has arrived. For Saturday’s clash, Daniel Maldini will also be available.

The youngster, who scored his first goal for the club a few weeks back, sustained a slight injury while on international duty with Italy’s U20 side. Fortunately, he trained with the squad today and has thus fully recovered, as per MilanNews.

This comes after we found out that Davide Calabria, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Rade Krunic also took part in today’s training session at Milanello. Stefano Pioli, therefore, can smile a  bit as the situation is now looking much better.

Theo Hernandez and Mike Maignan will still miss out, though, which is a blow for the Rossoneri as they are undisputed starters. But with that said, Pioli has enough alternatives to make do on Saturday evening.
