MN: Ibrahimovic’s chances increasing; could start against Sampdoria

By Isak Möller -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic only just arrived, but we could actually see the 38-year-old from start in AC Milan’s clash with Sampdoria on Monday afternoon. Certainly, should he do well, it would be a remarkable comeback.

As MilanNews.it’s Anto Vitiello writes, the chances of seeing Ibrahimovic from the first minute are increasing. The striker has presented himself in excellent conditions at Milanello, which hasn’t gone unnoticed for the manager Stefano Pioli.

Furthermore, the Swede wants to play the game from start, leading the attack with Suso and Calhanoglu as his support on the wings. Tomorrow morning, the Rossoneri will have a training session and Ibra’s chances could increase even more.

On Thursday, the 38-year-old landed in Milan and signed his contract. Already four days later, he could make his second debut. As mentioned, it would be remarkable, and above all, it would be a big signal of what he intends to do at the club.
