MN: Important duo tops table despite missing games – Milan’s goalscorers so far

By Isak Möller -

Milan have started the season in the best way possible: eight wins out of eight in all competitions. They have now gone 21 games unbeaten and the players continue to do very well in both phases of the game.

The Rossoneri have already scored 19 goals, while conceding six, and Stefano Pioli is surely delighted with his team’s performances. As highlighted by MilanNews.it, the top goalscorer standings are already looking very interesting.

Brahim Diaz, thanks to the 2-0 goal against Celtic, has increased his tally to two goals, equalling Rafael Leao’s stats. Rade Krunic and JP Hauge scored their first goal of the season and not only: it was also the first time the scored for Milan.

However, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Hakan Calhanoglu are at the top of the standings. The Swede missed four games due to COVID-19 but has still racked up five goals, while the Turk missed the game against Celtic due to an injury.

5 goals: Ibrahimovic (Shamrock, Bologna (2), Inter (2))

4 goals: Calhanoglu (Shamrock, Bodo/Glimt (2), Rio Ave)

2 goals: Diaz (Crotone, Celtic), Leao (Spezia (2))

1 goal: Colombo (Bodo/Glimt), Hauge (Celtic), Kessie (Crotone), Krunic (Celtic), Saelemaekers (Rio Ave), Theo Hernandez (Spezia).
