MN: Kessie still stuck in Ivory Coast as Milan teammates return to Italy

By Isak Möller -

All of the AC Milan players that travelled abroad when the Coronavirus broke out have now returned, respecting the club’s decision to bring them back. However, Franck Kessie and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are still missing.

The Swede, with Milan’s permission, has decided to stay in Sweden to continue training with Hammarby. He will return to Italy once the dates on the resumption of training will be official, as reported by MilanNews.it.

For Kessie, on the other hand, the situation is very different. In fact, he’s struggling to find a flight back to Italy. Two days ago, Corriere Dello Sport broke the news and hinted that a solution wasn’t far away for the midfielder.

However, the situation is still the same and it remains to be seen when he can return to Milan. Of course, the Rossoneri are trying to help the player, though he might have to wait a few more days.
