MN: Milan delighted as over 10K virtual tickets have been sold for derby vs. Inter

By Isak Möller -

Yesterday, Milan launched an important campaign ahead of the derby against Inter next week, hoping to fill the San Siro stadium virtually. And so far, the response from the fans has been amazing.

The proceeds of the initiative will be donated to Fondazione Milan and their project ‘Assist’, which aims to support the most vulnerable affected by the social and economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

As reported by MilanNews, the response from the Rossoneri fans has been fantastic with over 10K virtual tickets sold in just one day. The Milan management is delighted with the support that has exceeded their expectations thus far.

Each buyer receives a commemorative ticket and will also be competing for over 200 prizes. Hopefully, the tickets will continue to sell at a good pace as the initiative is for a good cause, and so far the Milan fans have certainly shown their best side.
