MN: Milan have patience despite clear will of several targets – the latest

By Isak Möller -

Several players have made it clear that they want to join AC Milan this summer. If not in interviews, informally. However, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara won’t make any rushed decisions because of this.

Indeed, as reported by MilanNews, Maldini and Massara know very well that patience also is an important factor on the market. Going all-out too soon would potentially show desperation (or spending will) and increase the price tags of their targets.

Agreements have been reached with Sven Botman and Renato Sanches but the financial situation of Lille forces Milan to wait. The deals perhaps would have been close by now if it hadn’t been for the financial situation of Lille, but again the Rossoneri must show patience.

Charles De Ketelaere and Noa Lang are two more examples. The latter has made his will to join Milan (or at least leave Club Brugge) clear in interviews but Maldini and Massara are evaluating the situation. Also because they wouldn’t be cheap, and significant investments are never made in a rush.
